Lambertville Residents Show Us Their Vision

Citizens of the Lambertville area turned out to provide input into the future of their community at a recent visioning workshop.

As a part of the Lambertville Economic Development Study, ENP planners held a visioning workshop on November 14, 2006 at the Olde Schoolhouse Commons.  The workshop was an "open house" format, where residents were free to drop in at their convenience, talk to planners and local officials about their ideas and concerns, and give us valuable insights into what they wanted their community to be.

The workshop included a visual survey of the study area, where current pictures were presented along with alternative futures.  Participants were given the opportunity to rank and comment on the scenarios, as well as understand the tradeoffs involved in each one.  We received very positive feedback on the session from participants, who enjoyed the informal setting and having local officials and ENP staff available to talk to them one-on-one about their ideas.
